Körperlandschaft — a landscape of the body

Essays · Conversations · Research

Caricoma Studio.

The intellectual and creative home of the practice — an artist’s notebook rather than a media library.

Caricoma Studio is an emerging experiential think tank. Alongside my clinical work, it brings together writing, conversations, conceptual art and interdisciplinary research exploring relationships, sexuality, embodiment, psychoanalysis, trauma and repair.

Rather than offering certainty, it follows the questions that emerge where inner and outer worlds meet — thinking with the body, not only about it.

01 · Essays

Written slowly, published on Substack.

Essays exploring embodiment, relationships, psychoanalysis, trauma, repair and the questions that continue beyond the therapy room.

All published writing lives on Substack — essays, field notes, reflections, longer papers, reading notes and occasional fragments. New pieces are sent by post, when there is something worth sending.

02 · Conversations

In dialogue.

Long-form conversations with people whose work deepens our understanding of the body, relationships and repair.

A space for long-form interdisciplinary dialogue rather than interviews or podcasts — with artists, clinicians, researchers, writers and practitioners whose work resonates with the philosophy of Caricoma. Conversations may touch on grief, embodiment, migration, psychoanalysis, sexuality, trauma and humanitarian work.

Forthcoming

The first dialogues are being prepared. To hear when they arrive, subscribe on Substack.

Water Borders

A long-term research and conceptual art project exploring water, involuntary displacement, borders and the nervous system through writing, field research and artistic practice.

The work moves between shoreline and consulting room — considering what bodies of water hold, refuse and carry, and what the nervous system does when a border is crossed under duress.

Further projects will be added here as they take shape.
